*One of Greg's favorite bushes!
Dwarf Black Mulberry Bush.
This is a bush as opposed to the Pakistani variety which is a tree.
Easy to grow, this abundant producer of sweet, medium-sized, blackberry-like fruit performs exceptionally well in pots, and may yield several crops per year when provided with warm temperatures and adequate light. The plants can be kept under 2 feet tall with moderate pruning. In the ground, they turn into a large bush which can reach a mature height of up to 6' to 8' tall. Mulberry bushes are self-fertile and disease and insect resistant.

A small mulberry fruit, but a big delicious flavor!
This is one of our more recent excellent finds. Be clear that it is the berry that is dwarf and NOT the bush/tree. It produces a dime size berry in March and April, is very prolific and tasty. None of them make it into the kitchen - I typically just go out to the bushes and harvest to eat right there. It can be grown as a single trunk tree and a bush. Note it takes heavy pruning to keep it a smaller (6 to 8 feet). This can be grown as a bush or a single trunk tree, One of my fav's!!!
