These are potted mulberries, similar to PakistaniExperimental until we can confirm they fruit in our area.
One of the best Mulberry varieties that is prized for its tasty 1-1/2 inch long fruit and its long ripening season, late June until early fall. Given the late ripening we are considering this an experimental tree for the moment. BUT given how hardy mulberries are in general we think that it will fruit just fine into the late summer.
Exotic, sweet, and delicious, Mulberries are very popular, tasty treat. Mulberry fruit resembles a Blackberry and is delicious eaten fresh. It can also be dried for tasty winter snacks. Mulberries are pest and disease resistant and form an attractive tree with dark green, tropical foliage. It sometimes starts producing the first year after planting! It becomes a large shade tree very quickly, often growing 3'-5' per year in favorable conditions.
These are female mulberry trees which do not produce pollens and do not conflict with Phoenix municipal codes.
