Amazing Olives
I purchased 8 Koroneiki olive trees in February 2018 from Urban Farms. The trees were very small maybe 1 foot tall and the thickness of a ballpoint pen at the base of the trunk. Here it is the first week of August and all of the trees are doing fine even with the intense heat.So as not to exaggerate I just walked out with a ruler to measure the olive trees they are 4 ft. tall and 3 ft wide and the base of the trunk is the thickness of a magic marker. I did have to restake them as they broke away from the bamboo stakes that they originally came with. I did feed them when i first planted them and i water 2 times a week they are sitting in a nice bed of fertile soil with a 6 in. base of mulch. Can't wait for the first harvest!
