This is a limited time offer as we have procured a small quantity of bare root pears and will not likely have these next year. They are grafted from a parent tree that grew locally near the Urban Farm and produced abundantly before finally succumbing to age. The rootstock is OHxF33 which is a semi-dwarf rootstock and will do well in the desert.
These trees are an experiment organized by The Urban Farm with the goal of producing a pear that produces in our desert climate. The original tree produced a Bartlett-style pear that ripened in the fall.
