Helping your trees start off correctly is an important key to their success.
The health of new fruit trees is encouraged if their new hole is prepared correctly. Greg teaches how to do this in his classes and videos, and this is the mixture of ingredients that he recommends to start with for each new fruit tree. Be sure to read or watch those section about how to dig the hole.

Enough of what you need to get started off right for THREE trees: Mycorrhizae, Azomite, and Worm Castings.

2021 UPDATED RECOMMENDATIONS:

· Bare root and citrus trees Single Tree Starter Kit

· Small potted trees (Figs & Olives) 1/2 Single Tree Starter Kit

· Small potted bushes & vines 1/2 Single Tree Starter Kit

(1 Starter kit = 2-lbs Azomite, 2-lbs Worm Castings, & 2-ounces Mycorrhizae)

Note for EACH new tree: We also recommend 2 lbs. organic fertilizer and 2 bags of Farmer Greg's Planting Mix for planting, and then on top in the basin a minimum of 4 bags of Tree Well Top Mulch.

Q: I noticed you recommended the bundle package for each tree . Yet I am having difficulty understanding what the bundle packages is on your site and what is the cost of 1 bundle package ? The site is a little confusing to understand

A: Hi! Thanks for asking this question - it is usually easier to see this bundle in person, so we are doing the best we can online. What we are recommending is a combination of three items when planting and ongoing care of trees and plants. For a typical new fruit tree we recommend a single portion of these three items (1lb each of worm castings and AZOMITE, and 1 oz of mycorrhizae) and this bundle is five portions of each of those items. The bundle listed here is 5 lbs each of worm castings and AZOMITE, and 5 oz of mycorrhizae - therefore enough for five new trees. This is the Multi-Tree Amendment Bundle with five portions.

2020 caveat - We are doubling our recommended portion due to the extreme weather we have been experiencing here locally. ALSO, we suggest taking a look at the Liquid Amendments to further your nutrition and care for your fruit trees.

Q: Hi, I have two citrus trees (lemon & orange dwarfs) 5 & 15 gallons. Can you recommend this planting starter kit if I have them in a 50 gallon terra cotta pot? I would like to transfer them to the pot. Please let me know. Thank you

A: Potted trees need the same amendments as in ground trees, so we absolutely recommend these products. If you are going to transfer them to a large pot, then plan on using these amendments to start. When you amend your potted trees in the future, divide your amendments into two portions, then apply one portion at the beginning of the month and the second half at the mid point of the month.

A: Great Question we get them from our friends at AZ Worm Farm they are at 19th Ave and Southern. So very local.
