The Contorted Jujube has signature contorted branching for a distinctive addition to any landscape. The round-shaped fruits, similar to the Li Jujube, are reddish-brown. More details below. when fully ripe in early fall. Jujubes are eaten firm and crunchy or room-dried to date-like chewy sweetness. Jujube trees are attractive, easy-to-grow tree: hardy, drought resistant, virtually pest and disease free. Requires long, hot summer. Very low chilling requirement.
